We are committed to creating a soothing atmosphere for your pet’s hygienic experience, and I believe being home based helps with this. The grooming session can range from forty-five minutes to 4 hours depending on your cat’s needs and your specifications. Suds 'N' Scissors Pet Salon is one of the oldest most established full-service pet grooming businesses in Victoria B.C.


We try to minimize the stress on cats by having no cats in the room or in sight while they are being groomed. Long haired cats get matted, so we have a couple of options. Matts that are not too large can be combed or worked out. If the cat is severely matted, we may suggest a Lion Cut. Some people also prefer this cut to the long hair. Sometimes a combination of combing and a bit of shaving can accomplish the desired results. We can establish what your ideas are as well as your cats needs when you arrive for your appointment.

Wendy did a great a job with my Cavalier: trimmed just enough to be cool in the warmer weather and tidy-looking without taking away her shape and distinctive Cavalier "look".   • How long do your pet grooming appointments take?

    The amount of time your cat grooming appointment will take will vary by breed and by service requested. In general, you want to plan on it taking about 3-4 hours for a full-service visit. This allows us to give your pooch the individualized attention they deserve, and to give them the best service possible.
