We try to minimize the stress on cats by having no dogs in the room or in sight while they are being groomed. Long haired cats get matted so we have a couple of options. Matts that are not too large can be combed or worked out. If the cat is severely matted we may suggest a Lion Cut. Some people also prefer this cut to the long hair. Sometimes a combination of combing and a bit of shaving can accomplish the desired results. We can establish what your ideas are as well as your cats needs when you arrive for your appointment.
